IGP can be described as International working trials for dogs. It originated in Germany in the 19th century, when it was felt any dog used for breeding should evidence ability in some of the areas that it may may used for in a working environment, those being tracking, obedience and protection.
IGP has evolved into a highly competitive and popular international canine sport, with hundreds of dogs competing in the annual World Championships, and National events in countries across the globe.
Here at Pro Tech we have been involved in IGP for many years, and Jamie has acted as a helper at many National and International Championships. He has trained and supported many extremely successful dog/ handler teams in the sport, as well as many helpers.
